Greenwich High School is a high achieving school of 2800 students located just outside of New York City along the coast of CT. The school has a busy and comprehensive Art Program with 7 full-time Art teachers, 1.5 in Photography, and because of a retirement we are in need of a full-time Photograph teacher.
The Photography program has a 20-person darkroom with two levels of chemical darkroom classes currently being taught. There is also a 20-station Mac lab for the Digital Photography program which includes AP Photography. There are 8 classes of photography taught every semester and the students are a comprised of a fabulous and creative group many of whom remain committed to the program for many years.
We are looking for an innovative, team player who can teach both Darkroom as well as Digital Photography.
A CT educational certification is required with High School teaching experience helpful. A degree in Photography or equivalent experience is highly recommended.
